Chapter 5 - PurityA Chapter by Mirror
We arrive in this world as pure human beings. Babies have no hate or rage or sadness. They are at the purest state a human can be. Our souls were clean white. But then inevitably, we all grow up.
By growing up we lose some of that purity. Our soul gets stained with dark colours and we can never get back. This is not a bad thing. It is a necessary procedure so that we can face both the light and the darkness of this world. I also think it is of vital importance for a person to understand when is the right time to slow, hasten or stop the "painting" of the soul. If the soul does not have many colours the person will not be able to face the world. If it has too many of them, the darkness may grow too strong. Of course the world will paint one's' soul too. So the person has to calculate the right ammount of paint. He or she needs to be able to see inside the soul and costantly understand its colours. It is not an easy task. For some, it is impossible. Not only it needs a lot of effort, time and talent but also the capacity to restrain your feelings. Will you control? Or you will be restrained? Will you rule? Or you will let yourself be dominated? Whatever happens do not let anyone choose a colour for you. Make your choices. Colour your soul. Protect your purity.
