Alone

Alone

A Poem by markedforever

I used to be fine

Alone!

I used have fun

Alone!

Until

You came to me!

I now hate being

Alone!

I need to be around

People! Anyone!

All because of

You!

Even after he left

I was fine

Alone

I want to be okay

Alone again

I'm not one to

Complain

But you messed me up

You changed me

I'm not me no more

Change me back

I don't like it

I don't like any of it

Change it back

Make me forget you

Make it all go away

I don't want to know anymore

Just leave stay out of my life

I don't want to know anymore

Leave me alone

I'm better off alone

Why couldn't you just leave it all alone

Leave me alone

I just want to be me again

Curious use of anaphora's figure of speech, the way you use it in the first stanza to express the beggining situation (alone = cool), and after the second "narative" stanza, on the third the way the same word's anaphora (alone) expressed all another thing (alone = no longer ok), on the forth the way it expressed your dislike about the changement (I don't like) and finally on the fifth with the word "make" at the very beggining of the stanza make it extremely obvious what you're asking him and that you want HIM to do it, explained very well by the second anaphora of the stanza "I don't want to know anymore".
A VERY BEAUTIFUL POEM TAKING THE BEST IT CAN FROM A GREAT FIGURE OF SPEECH SUCH AS ANAPHORA
