Relapse/Control

Relapse/Control

A Poem by Honey
"

Yes, I'm returning to this subject yet again. Poetry and cutting just seem to go hand in hand. Sorry for sucking. The cocaine lines just seemed like a nice thought to me.

"
My silvery steed stationed at my side, I confidently lift and flourish him with pride
I hold him with two fingers, yet with strength, I carefully etch out an unmeasured length
Of skin where the blood lays in straight lines like cocaine, my secretive pleasure is laced with slight pain
Yet I continue carving as red droplets roll. This is simply the easiest way to maintain control.

This is a really sad poem, but you put the words perfectly and they rhyme well. It's a unique way to visualize self harm.
