Strolling the Beach

Strolling the Beach

A Poem by Dave

                     Strolling the Beach

I look for you each day, while you stroll the beach

your blue suit stands out against the hot sand.

Daintily you tip-toe along the waters' frothy edge

legs, water splashed, glimmer with their bronzeness,

I delight in watching you run your hands down your legs.

I see no ring, a quiet sigh of relief escapes my lips.

In my mind I feel your brown hair blowing on my shoulder

Imagining still, we are kissing together in the water.

Each day I look for the courage to join you in your strolling.
