The Warmth of You

The Warmth of You

A Poem by Dave

                               The Warmth of You

Your hand is so soft and warm when you touch my heart,

a heart that longs only for you, so dear you are to me.

Kisses you give on my cheeks, forehead and lips,

kisses that taste as sweet as nectar, I wish to drink forever.

Down pillows are not as soft as you nestled in my embrace,

I long to keep you ever close, never to lose your warmth.
