AFTERGLOW

AFTERGLOW

A Poem by Dave

                               AFTERGLOW

So quiet, I only hear the sound of your breathing

I cherish the warmth of you nestled in my arms

Your body pressed into mine,  as though we were one.

A smile on your lips that I softly kiss, that you return.

Our fingers barely touching in a warm caress until

I feel your heart beating quietly, unrushed , we kiss,

and bask in the afterglow of our sweet lovemaking.

                                          f
