Her Shadow
It glides silently across the far wall of my room. So close and yet so far away, unable to be touched. Though dark, I see her tresses and shining eyes, Her brightening smile that once gladdened my heart. I remember kisses that would melt the coldest cold. All of this I remember as her shadow grows darker and further away.
