Her Shadow
It glides silently across the far wall of my bedroom so close and yet so far away, unable to be touched. Though dark, I can see her tresses and shining eyes, Her brightening smile that once gladdened my heart. Remembering kisses that would melt the coldest cold. All of this as her shadow grows darker and further away.
