LINGERINGA Poem by Dave
LINGERING
Linger, linger in my arms until the stars have left the sky Linger as the warmth of you is overtaken by the rising sun Your breath, not heard above the singing of the early birds. I linger so I may see your beauty basking in the suns' rays. My longing is heavy, to once again kiss your soft, warm lips. I wait, content to simply have you lingering in my arms.
