Hellos Of MeA Poem by Mark Mendoza
What a sight to see,
Moonlight white with a face in the sky, A sparkling rigid road made just for me. "Sit, why don't you, please." Wow, even at 2 in the morning, Life songs madly: "eeeee-eeeee-eeeee!" And cars make far fading faint roars. And wisps of wind whistle. And greenery stands tall in shadowy blues, waiting for golden rays to speak again. The trees stay one with mind of the day, knowing full well and good of the unknown glow shown to those who know. "Lay, Lay I say!" On concrete ground, Hounds howl in the distance, Here I stay safe and sound. "Lay, Lay" Tinkiring clanking rambling- distraction weighs. "Lay, Lay, Lay." Now I lay below a royal sky lit with scattered dots of me. A sight seen just as in the bedroom o I so rarley leave. And here, Kisses my imaginary lips, Sinking deep within, Pulling the thing out of me; "See! See! You breathe! You breath!" Sirens now blare a trouble pulse. All I may do, Is wish all well. I've got nothing to tell, Other than a hello of myself. Whenever, What ever weather, I give hellos of me. © 2019 Mark MendozaReviews
