A Tune For The Soul

A Tune For The Soul

A Poem by Mark Mendoza

Your silk like melodies and French lyrics Seep into the canvas of eccentric energy and love.

Your foreign, earth shattering ,formulation of pitch and rhythm pushes the water in my body as the transparent crystal life is moved by a dove

Your grand words of wisdom and tales brush ecstasy against my naive and inexperienced soul and calls for an adventure

As the tunes float in the space between my heart an lungs i am brought to life's pursed lips and encouraged to venture .

even at my age...i am packing a suitcase to go somewhere, anywhere...after reading this.
but probably more in the mind...as the Moody Blues sang "thinking is the best way to travel"---

Thank you for taking the time to read
This is quite beautiful, each line as good as the last... "And calls for adventure" Indeed, feeling that inspiration makes you want to give all you have. Thanks for sharing, I liked it!
