T'was a world where I can escape With nothing at stake I can be as selfish as I want there But I couldn't live in that facade forever
I lived in an illusion made of coal A fool's rendition of his goal To be with you eternally But that illusion didn't satisfy me
I lost the battle on this stage Because you took all my courage Now it's impossible to make this a reality Now it will only remain in the canvas as a fantasy
