CATALYSTA Poem by Mark Alexander BoehmThoughts on life, depression and finding strength.
If sadness is a sickness,
Then I am f****n terminal. Suffer from chronic blues That cripple me day and night. Life is equal parts Balloon and anchor, It'll lift you up And it'll drag you down. I'm the only catalyst I need. I'll be right back, Just need some fresh air. Can't see the light through the doubts And can't breathe in the dark. So I stand, lean over, look down. It'd be so easy to jump, But that'd give it too much power. I admit this is not my finest hour, But I can and will survive. I may have a hard time finding reasons to rise, But I'm still too strong for a concrete dive. © 2016 Mark Alexander BoehmFeatured Review
