If I Was Lost

If I Was Lost

A Poem by Mark Martindale

If I was lost in this world,

You would be the only one that i wished i said good bye to,

The only one that my heart would cry out for,

The only one that I'd want to see one last time.

Without you,

I might as well no long breathe,

For without you,

There is no point of living.

Your eyes tell me to love,

Your smile gives me hope,

The sound of your voice I would alway miss,

And your touch would be desired by my skin till i passed away.

If I was lost on an island,

With but one wish to use,

I'd wish for you to be there with me,

And for us to live happily together.

My heart beats soully for you,

And my eyes are only for you,

My body is yours forever,

And my soul is yours even after death.

I love you so much,

That my heart pounds in my chest,

My eyes tear as you turn and say good bye,

That my love will never siese.

I support all you do,

And i hope to spend my life with you,

To see a smile on your face every day,

And sleep in my arms every night.
