Jesus Kicked My Head in outside a Chip Shop

Jesus Kicked My Head In

Jesus kicked my head in outside a chip shop one night

Appropriately the sky was Heavenly

When I met my maker’s foot

I did not liked his pushy loud  mouthed ways

When waiting in the queue

I told him so, and the air turned blue

He told me a few home truths

And everyone else who’d listen

Exposed my sins holding them up for all to see

I asked him for forgiveness

Was it not the Christian thing to do ?

And that was when my face collided with his shoe

They say never meet your hero for you’ll be disappointed

Lying half dead in a hospital bed about to be anointed

I said’’ Father Jesus kicked my head in outside a chip shop’’

Beatifically man of the cloth told me the lord moves in mysterious ways

‘’Too f*****g right Father’’ my last words

As I ended my days unfortunately too far gone

To avail of  mending my ways ....

Jesus kicked my head in outside a chip shop.
