Everybody’s Got a Guitar Inside
Everybody’s got a Guitar Inside them,
You found mine in a highly strung state ,
Picked it up with delicate fingers played me beautifully life was great.
You could see I needed tuning ,you could see I needed care,
And sweetheart I surrendered , mesmerised by kind eyes and golden hair.
Oh my guitar player I’d have done anything for you ,
Musical moments shared by we two ,
Played so loud I did’nt listen did I ?,when I should have ...
Gentle you content to let me learn....well intentioned ,careless chords..
Hitting, serene high notes ,sliding those scales ,strumming under moonlit lake..
I’m fretting now ....your guitar taken from my hands....
Hands that would have cradled cherish, lovingly touching that neck , caressed willowed instrumental sweet body, supporting you thru all lifes’s musical concert lovelusting desiring ultimate congress crescendo in vibratio oblivious bliss,
classical you tormenting me with the blues and all that jazz .....
kissing you like there was no tomorrow my guitar girl ....if you’d have let me....
Guess Bassically I grew Acoustical to you :) never Pluctrumed courage to play you by ear ..
The case is cold inside without you ,remember smiles while we touch played feeling out of love not fear..
And everybody’s got a guitar inside them ,bending, picking, twanging some harmonic gig ,
Pining for the lover gone playing without them, taking the lead and sliding away...
These strings are no use you-less,no one can play you like I can...
Darling.. time to leave the venue, come back to me...
without you this Guitars broken
....and so is the man.....
I love you
