Living for Time or Eternity?

Living for Time or Eternity?

A Poem by Margarette
"

Does true love exist in eternity?

"
How long will it take for me
To wait for someone to replace you?
The broken promises made
Shattered pieces of that vow
Our forever that did not exist

Wherever you are
That adoration in the past
Of black and white rearing
Slowly being pulled into nothing

Always waking up alone
Whispering your name
Dried tears on my face
Just looking into space

Until the end of eternity
Until my heart can feel nothing
Even after forever
I will wait for you

Drowning in thoughts of you
Tangled deeply into my dreams
The face haunting me every night
Sorrow and alone I am

How long will I feel broken?
Nearing the end of my time
Fond of the loving memories I had
Looking forward tomorrow

To another eclipse of my darkness

Author's Note

Margarette
Woke up to another deja vú feeling I had, knowing that I have loved someone so purely? I am not quite sure.. Maybe, all those movies I have been watching are influencing my sleep. Been up every night for my exams and writing poems relaxes me so much. Cannot get enough of just posting now. See you again, and hope you'll review my other writings.
Thank you for reading this poem!

Love lots,
Margarette
