UnrequitedA Poem by Marissa M.I wrote this about a guy I liked years ago but never told him, and still I dream of him sometimes and wonder what might have been.I remember you not as you were but as you came to be in the dreams of my hesitant heart and distant regret. You left me hollow as a tin man rusting under an acid rain that forces me to feel the pain I’ve caused myself. And you never knew Of the heart that you had stolen; For now you shall remain A memory yet unbroken. © 2013 Marissa M.Author's Note
