My Mother My Pride

 

 

As I lay in my bed sleeping

nightmares came creeping

into my head

 

Waking me from this fright

filled night

 

Sat my Mother

at the end of my bed

smiling at me

 

Though she died last summer

she is still my Mother

alive as I

 

Never will I let her go

she ment so much to me

you just don't know

 

We talked about anything

I wanted to

though so busy

with many chores to do

 

She always had time

for me

 

I wish

just wish

she hadn't died

 

She was my whole life

my breath my soul

this love for you Mother

will never grow cold

 

I wish to hold you once again

that will be

when my life ends
