Somone Who Cares

Somone Who Cares

A Poem by ~Mariposa Una Lila~

Gather around and listen to me

about Cinderella and

what never could be

Two ugly step sisters

and

a house full of cleaning

An evil step Mother

with out any feelings

You are about to learn

this stories true meaning

There are no white mice

that turn into horses

No pumpkins that turn

into beautiful coaches

No Fairy God Mothers

to make you look beautiful

In new clothes

lookig lovely as ever

Glass slippers on your feet

that could easily break

I'm telling you all

this story is fake

Why would you wear shoes

 that make your feet bleed

Look for handsomes Princes

they are not there

All you need

is someone who cares

Someone who listens

and someone who's there

Fairy tales are nice for entertainment but they are believable as reality shows... you make an excellent point.

Beautifully put M'lady! The fairytales are not what they seem.. However..sometimes..in rare cases..Princes do exist. But I have yet to see one come riding in on a white horse with a pink feather in his hat.. That just doens't happen I guess! :)

Lovely Ink!
Hugs!
