I’m so intrigued by you
It’s not common
For me to have genuine feelings for someone
But I keep catching my mind wander to you
When I’m
Cooking or
Watching TV or
Driving in my car alone or
In a room full of people
All of these faces
All of these personalities
And I’m wishing you were next to me
Your hands wrapped around mine
Your scent in my nose
Your sweet face and sleepy eyes
Looking at me
Tell me about yourself
What you think about
When you’re alone
What makes you smile
Gives you goosebumps
What makes you feel
Alive
Let me know what you’re afraid of
Please don’t be scared of me
I won’t poke you where it hurts
I’ll be gentle and soft
Pinky promise
I want to know what you think of me
If your mind wanders too
