A short rant on why the world lacks some obvious solutions to important problems. Or just a short rant. You tell me.

Imagine if there were cloud-shaped socks,

So we could walk on clouds.

Or swallowable pocket breaths,

So we could breathe underwater.

And then we could walk on clouds underwater.

Or imagine if there were boat-shaped socks

With small engines

So that we could glide through rivers and lakes.

But not seas

Because we would need ship-shaped socks,

Obviously.

But not submarine-shaped socks, because then

We wouldn’t be able to swallow our pocket breaths.

Or imagine if the clouds were made of pop corn and were a tad bigger

So we could eat one or two, while on our way

In our cloud-shaped socks.

"boat-shaped socks with small engines" I love it... I think it's a very imaginative and kind of triggers my childhood self, when I used to think of making myself a dragonfly and fly accross the ocean... I think it's a very thoughtful write for any reader...

You have a very imaginative mind. I like to see that not everyone is so serious. the world is a better place if you can get away and escape every ounce in a while. A good way to escape is by imagining and that is what you have done. i think you should write even more. This is a good passionate sight that i see from this poem.
I do want to say while i was reading i had forgotten everything that was going on around me. I was trying to imagine what that would look like on me. it was so glorious to see what my mind had produced just by what you had put in this wonderful poem. i would like to say congratulations i think you have exceeded in your writing.
