The Sailing Trip (Ladies' Lunch Disaster) (Part IV: The Desert Island Adventure (4):

As soon as breakfast was over, the four women made their way from the wide open spaces of the beach into the heavy jungle-ladened forests of the island. Michelle and Andrea were in front with Karen and Emma bringing up the rear. The sun was absolutely belting down on them. Before long, all four were sweating profusely. Emma in particular was finding the whole thing extremely hard. You see, she and Michelle had been a couple for almost two years but, even though she deeply loved Michelle, she wasn't too sure if Michelle really loved her. She could see and sense that Andrea and Karen also had or appeared to have a thing for Michelle. As a result, she was now finding it difficult to try and talk to Michelle about how she was feeling.

Andrea, for her part, had started to pick up on this and immediately felt extremely jealous of this. She wasn;t usually the one to shy away from a battle for a potential lover, even if they just happened to be with someone else.

After about ten minutes, they stopped to rest for a bit.

While Michelle and Karen were chatting some distance away, the two women got into an extremely bitter fight. They began by throwing clumps of mud at each other and eventually locked horns, trying to pull each other's hair. It got so vicious at one point that Andrea actually punched Emma in the chest. Emma stumbled backwards, fell over a rock and banged her head on the edge of a large rock, knocking her out.

This brought Karen and Michelle running. They were both absolutely shocked and appalled by what they found. As Michelle managed to calm Andrea down by physically restraining her, Karen knelt down by Emma.

"How is she Karen?" Michelle asked rather worriedly.

"She's still breathing Michelle. I think she'll be fine. I think she only banged her head." replied Karen as she carefully examined Emma.

"Well Andrea." Michelle said rather sternly. "Would you care to explain what happened?"

Embarrassed and ashamed, Andrea could say nothing.

"Okay then." continued Michelle. "We're going to have to get Emma back to the yacht where we can look after her properly. I do not want to see you again until Emma is better."

With that, Karen managed to carry the limp body of Emma back to the beach.. Michelle walked back to the beach behind Andrea, making her march her way back with a small stick that she'd picked up earlier on.

Karen then put Emma into the yacht's liferaft and then got in along with Andrea and Michelle and they pushed off.

After an awful lot of enormous physical effort, they managed to get Emma back to the yacht.

Michelle and Andrea got out of the liferaft and Karen eventually managed to lift Emma's unconscious body out of the raft and back on board the yacht.

Once back on board the yacht, Karen and Michelle set Emma's limp body down on the couch. Karen then went and got some water and bandages from the first aid kit. She bandaged Emma's head very carefully and then just let Emma sleep. She then went out to the stern where Andrea and Michelle.

"Is Emma going to be okay Michelle?" Andrea finally managed to ask extremely concerned.

"I'm not entirely sure but I think so." replied Karen. "What on earth happened between you two/ anuway?"

"Oh we just had an extremely stupid and immature arguement. I pushed Emma and she fell." Andrea said as her eyes began to fill with tears.

"I see. What was it about?"

"I don't want to talk about it. It's nothing compared to Emma's health. And it's pretty embarrassing as well." replied Andrea as she headed back into the main cabin.

"Oh what a trip this has been!" exclaimed Michelle.

"You can deffinately say THAT again Michelle." replied Karen. "It hasn't exactly gone the way we had planned has it?"

"So what are we going to do now then?"

"Well I don't think there's anything for it but to try and sail home while we can." replied Michelle.

"Yes. We're going to need to try and get Emma to a hospital so that she can be checked out." agreed Michelle.

"Right then. Let's get everything organised."

With that, they immediately began to make preparations for their return home.
