The Sailing Trip (Ladies' Lunch Disaster) Part IV (The Desert Island Adventure) Part 1A Story by NigellaStory1The Sailing Trip (Ladies' Lunch Disaster) Part IV: The Desert Island Adventure (Part 1) Following the freak storm, which had taken all four women completely by suprise, there was a good deal of bitchiness with the women all blaming each other for the whole sorry mess that they had now found themselves in. However, there was also a realisation that they really needed to get ashore somehow as soon as possible so that they could all then sort themselves out as far as changing clothes and general relaxation was concerned. In truth though, by this stage, Andrea and Michelle had actually started to become a little bit tired with all the sailing. In addition, Emma had started to feel every more seasick that she had been beforehand so she couldn't wait until they got to dry land. It was then that Karen spotted an island just off in the distance. She immediately told Michelle about this and they set a course to land on this island. When the point of the most shallowest water, Michelle stopped the engine and lowered the anchor. Sheb then told the other women that it was now safe to go ashore. Michelle had manaeuvered the yacht in such a way so that the stern was now facing the island while the bow was pointing out to sea. Karen and Emma immediately took her up on her offer and, after carefully dropping over the side of the yacht and into the sea, they waded extremely carefully towards the beach. They both threw themselves flat on to the beach, sighing heavily with a massive amount of relief. "Thank goodness!" exclaimed Emma. "I'm just so happy to finally be back on solid dry land again!" "Yes I agree." said Karen. "At least here, there aren't any waves, big or small, to ruin our day!" Emma nodded. "Wow! What an incredible place!" remarked Emma as she took a look around. "Yes indeed! I've never seen such a beautiful place in my life!" Karen agreed. The island that now lay before them was a vast one, full of extremely lush-green vegetation. Palm-trees sprung up all throughout the island. The sun was absolutely baking down on the two women. It was absolute paradise! "Phew! It's warm!" exclaimed Karen. "Yeah!. I'm sweating like a bride!" remarked Emma. "Well then let's have a look around and see if we can find a spring or something so that we can both take a bath and clean ourseleves up! Judging by the state of us we really need to!" "You're not kidding!" agreed Emma. "Right! Well then let's go!" she said putting her arm around Karen's waist. Karen grinned at Emma. She knew exactly what she was thinking. Then giggling like two rather naughty little schoolgirls, they started making their way in from the beach and towards the extremely thankful, much cooler shade of the inner part of the island. A short distance from the beach, they found a warm spring next to a fast-flowing waterfall. Karen led Emma down the slightly rocky slope. They both nearly slipped a few times but eventually made it. "Now what?!" Emma asked slightly out of breath. "Now It's time for a bath I think!" Karen said as she went behind some bushes and began stripping. Emma sighed, thought about for a minute, then giggled and hurried off to join Karen. The fun was only just beginning. © 2014 NigellaStory1 |
