I miss you Dad

I miss you Dad

A Poem by Marilyn

Little did I know that morning
That God would call your name.
In life I loved you dearly;
In death I’ll do the same.
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
Part of me went with you
The day God called you home.
All I have is memories,
And your love is still my guide,
And though I cannot see you,
You’re always by my side.
The times we shared ended
And nothing seemed the same,
But when it’s my time to join you
I’m sure we’ll meet again.
