The Heart of the Beholder

The Heart of the Beholder

A Poem by MarilynT

Her skin glistens with morining dew
worlds live in her eyes
her laugh has graced more than a few
while her lips tell them lies.
She is the kind that all desire
when her form they first behold
Their hearts and souls she sets afire
but the flames they burn so cold.
Perefection in each and every part
that is except for one
you see she has no loving heart
in its place a cold hard stone.

Ahhh true beauty lies from within. An ugly spirit and personality will dispel illusional esthetics. Love this one!
