Eternal Spring

Eternal Spring

A Poem by MarilynT

There is within every living creature an eternal spring. It runs deeper than hearts or souls. It overflows it’s banks when we find ourselves in the most dire of situations. It quenches the deadly thirst that overcomes us as we walk through deserts of despair. It fills us with life when we grow weary of life. This spring is fed sometimes by others, sometimes by our own strength. It is our life-giving water. Without it we cannot live. It is the reservoir that holds every hope. It is from here that hope eternally springs.
