A Poem by Marilyn My Bitterness
"

The beginning is from a song from Death Cab For Cutie named Transatlanticism. The poem doesn't begin until the 7th line, but without that part from the song it doesn't have the same impact.

"
I need you so much closer
I need you so much closer
I need you so much closer
I need you so much closer
               so much closer

        ...    so much closer

But the distance has allowed me to cry

I need you that much closer

                But the farther you are

      The more alive I feel

                                              Inside.
