Heart's Content

A companion poem to my love's haiku.

This restriction of heart
It keeps us from flying free
Tightly tethered to the ground
Violently screaming with no sound
With nowhere to flee

I like this one. the feeling of desiring liberation so bad, you are fighting for it. the question is, once you get free, will you be able to shoulder the huge responsibility attached to being "free"? or will you abuse it and get burned?
