Eyes Closed

Eyes Closed

A Poem by Mariana

Eyes closed,

Tipping and falling

A sigh of weariness, not relief

Of those with tearing hearts

And despairing minds

Eyes closed,

Once here, but no more

Hands down and tied

Coming across the words which you’ve left

Sitting in the cupboards shelf

Eyes closed,

And now I walk

Going one’s more to the edge of tomorrow

Where all that was left

Was the gust of wind
