Indonesia

Indonesia

A Poem by Maria.F.T

Indonesia my cradle-land
The first place where I stepped
The country that was full of fight
When blood was spilled
Just to be a born country
The place where I put my head
Where I feel warmth
With the rice plants that fill my tummy
The sludge in the fields that holds my feet to not go
And the equatorial emerald that comforts me
I won't erase the picture it has scratched in my life
Nor changing the color of it
I can't put my feet away from this land
My tears is often trickled
Whenever I see the blood of Indonesia is spilled again
My heart is so wrecked even the most wrecked
When I hear the cry of Indonesia
Smile is on my face
And my tears is welled
When I see Indonesia is at the top of the mountain
The mountain of pride and achievements
Indonesia's name is written in my heart
Indonesia is a piece of the puzzle of my life that I've found
To help me in perfecting the indescribable puzzle of my life

This is a fine poem, not scared to be patriotic, with a lot of charm and beauty.
