Witch of the West

Witch of the West

A Poem by MariaDahl1791

Just like the Wizard of Oz

Everything is quite odd

Flying monkeys and ruby slippers

Strange how everything is quicker

Round and round the merry-go-round

Everything is becoming a blur

Faster and faster like a twister

Why is everything much quicker?

Hush darling, do you hear?

Hear that sound that causes fear?

Hide, hide, do your best!

For here comes the Witch of the West

About
I've recently started writing. I had friends tell me to start sharing it with other people and (maybe) get them published. But one step at a time. My comfort zone is singing and horse training. But .. more..
