I often laugh to myself in the mirror

I often laugh to myself in the mirror

A Poem by Maria Retz
"

This is not a poem, really, it's just some wise words I try to live by

"

I often laugh to myself in the mirror,
even if I am truly, really depressed,
because after just a few seconds,
or minutes (that’s if it’s really bad),
the laughter all of a sudden is real

Dear Maria Retz,

I have had little or no experience with depression, but if I ever do, that's what I'd try to have a little relief. Lovely, lovely, and sad.

Did you know, it's science-proven that laughter is the one of the best medecines? Just an interesting thought, especially after reading that poem.
