Living in the suburbs has a special charm, especially if you live in one of the quarters of Tbilisi's Varketili district, where the sea is also nearby: tall buildings, scorching heat, and mulberry trees in the yard, whose pungent smell reaches your nostrils.
The noise of the neighborhood, gatherings, conversations around the table, drinking, smoking, hoodies, jeans, sneakers, Adidas these are what reflect fashion trends, taking their beginnings and energy from the suburbs and sticking around.
Here, you'll encounter Soviet era kiosks covered in rust. Larger-scale parks and children whose voices color the world, reaching the silent concrete buildings.
The political atmosphere is more superficial; there's not much to capture in photos, but if you head to the sea, a camera will definitely come in handy.
Yes, I saw the wise Author's Note.! Indeed, Soviet era buildings had a reputation for looking drab, being mass produced and generally poor in quality. In this place, little more than the colourful voices of children, and nearby coastal sea; seem to please the writer. I heard that Tiblisi is Georgia's capital, and Stalin himself was born in Georgia. It's quite playful, and I enjoyed reading this, Mari. Thankyou for sharing, and that new profile picture pleases me too.

Such as the deliberate subjegation of Ukrainian citizens, when he ordered the "collectivisation" of large amounts of agricultural land; gradually resulting in the deaths of millions by starvation. Best wishes, and hope that your Sunday is good. I'm just on a bus now, heading back home from Bakewell (where I do voluntary work on Sundays). Take care.

My profile picture is only tiny, because it's taken from an old passport photograph. I do have others, but have difficulty downloading on here (which may be something to do with my phone). Anyway, I thought that I was looking at Winona Ryder; at the moment when I first noticed your picture change.! Again, in a good way.
