A Poem by Black Branches

The eyes with which you gaze at the world are blue,
Like Kidman’s glance in the film 'Cold Mountain'.
Aggressively tinged with sorrow, I feel powerless before them.
Oh, dear, once you visited me in a dream,
The next day, you smiled at me.
It’s simply a platonic infatuation,
For whom it’s more, I do not know.
The scent of cherries, which you spread over my windows, always leads me back to you.
Madly wandering,
Oh, dear, that cold stare.
With your hellish black car, you only head toward the fields.

This is pleasant, and very much a piece written upon the writer's unique feelings and thoughts. I suspect that she's combined references to two of her passions, here. Firstly, Nicole Kidman and also the familiar fields and cherries; which are fondly familiar to Mari (in her home surroundings). In addition, she's included various accompanying thoughts and feelings; such as seeming to be in an unsettled awe of Nicole's gaze. Stars of many sorts tend to be driven around in black cars, and speed away from their adoring fans; no matter how appreciatively you may have been looking in awe at one of them (even at a distance and just longing for him or her to stop by or just give a wave).! In a way, I have the impression that Mari has used Nicole's distinctive gaze as the fulcrum; around which to build her associated thoughts and observations.? Thanks, for sharing.

Today I was at the elections in my country, Georgia, but nothing changes. I’m irritated. 💔

Fair enough. We're all irritated from time to time. Such is life, Mari.
