Hole of my fearsA Poem by Ria24This poem I made when I felt I was trapped in a never ending cycle of the things I most feared
When I look up to you, all I see is your hand extended towards me, trying to reach, trying to show, although we got a long way to go, we can do it and we're not alone. Fighting the scars and the battle in my heart, I take your hand and I smile back
I slip various times, but each time you grab my hand once more and tell me not to go. I'm tired of climbing, it's never enough, but if I don't try my life will soon fade, telling you that I am not afraid is the best i can do, were it not for you I fall, you grab me, you fall I grab you. But soon enough we'll both fall, and no one will be there, we'll see the dark heading towards us and think, this is the end, nice knowing ya I'm tired of fighting, I'm tired of trying. I'm tired of laughing, I'm tired of smiling. I'm tired, oh so tired, can't you see? © 2017 Ria24Author's Note
