Masquerade Ball

Masquerade Ball

A Poem by Mari Sloan

MasqMasquerade Ball

Dress up ghouls

Death's Masquerade Ball.

Each ghastly dance

Creates the queue.

A death head prize

For willing waltz.

A looming grave

The victory taunts.

A dying knave,

A pyrrhic flaunt.

Some people have it and some people shine, thi sent a quick chill through me, I believe the wordcrafting here is an amazing example
of flow and dynamics. the way you ended each sentence on a power point, the imagery bursts to life in such subtle ways as to transport
the heart to another place and time, brilliantly done.
