The Music Fan

The Music Fan

A Poem by Marguerite
"

At every concert, festival live music bar there is the music fan looking a little worn from life in his own world.

"

Quiet, light smile touches his face,
Foot beating; the beginning of a song.
Following an invisible pied piper,

His head rocks up and down

Arms lifted in the air

Hands intoning a melody

All cannot hear this splendid music

So perfect and beautiful

Light and gentle beneath the surface

Others streams flow in with the first

A crystal perfect composition

.

Flowing, yet silent waves twinkle in his eyes,
Not to the body, but to the inner soul.

Reflecting love overflowing

For the music immortalized

In the heart of a fan.
