Baby chicks,
old hound dogs,
bails of hay,
and red hot dogs.

Cows and pigs,
electric wires,
the county, Clay
old tractor tires.

Vicks vapor rub,
horses and mules,
railroad cars
and rusty tools.

I can’t think of these things
without thinking of you
I love you, papa
and I miss you.
