Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by Margeaux Souter

The best thing about nothing is that it never disappoints you. Nothing is forever more, nothing. It will never be anything except nothing, until you change it into something, but then it isn’t nothing anymore, it is and will now and forever be something. Which is why nothing is so intriguing. It can’t let you down because everyone knows what nothing is. Some say it’s the opposite of something, others say it might actually be something in disguise, you really can’t tell what someone’s definition of nothing is. But to define nothing, you would have to understand what you were defining. You can’t expect to inquire about nothing, and then get an actual answer. But then again, when do we know the right question or answer? The perfect question for one person might be the worst one for another.

So what is nothing?

Wow A very intriguing poem with a very good question throughout it makes me wonder if nothingness is anything at all other than a gap in space I love the concept my only criticism would be that you need to perhaps space your work a bit more to make it structurally sound and this will help your poem to flow better but obviously its your choice how you decide to present your work and overall I really did like this poem its the first piece of your work that iv'e viewed I look forward to reviewing more well done
