Hidden

Hidden

A Poem by Margaret Marie Hubbard
"

I spend a ton of time in and out of hospitals. I always have fear that my little boys will start to believe I am not coming back to them. That's what inspired me.

"
When you can't see me,

think of the sun.

Watch as it passes,

through the sky.

Warming oceans,

and earth below.

Its light gently rolls,

across moving fields.

Silently it slips away,

and darkness comes.

It has only traveled,

somewhere else,
for a time.

Promising to always return,

when you awaken.

Sometimes hidden,

behind the clouds,

but never gone.

Always yours.

Always mine.
