Ode, to the provocation of thee!

Ode, to the provocation of thee!

A Poem by Margaret Marie Hubbard
"

Written upon a single slip of paper a few years ago. It slipped out as I began to read a favorite old book of mine. Just thought I would share another of my "big word" poems.

"

Ode,
to the condensation
and violent exploration
of mine eyes

Rejuvenate thy wounds
Forego tragedy

Crawl from thy tomb
exude audacity

To love only thee
consumed condemnation

Greet thy soft lips
apperceive sweet exemption

Ode,
to the provocation
and lulled consolation
of thee

this made me think..someone is seruiously pissed for getting their emotional toes stepped on. The fiery eyes, the crawling from the tomb, that ol feeling that never goes away.

I hear a haunted love here - I have eyes only for you, type of thing. It has a chilling effect, in my opinion. I like this.

Beautifully written. I love the alliteration of 'consumed condemnation', this is really nice.
