My Angel

My Angel

A Poem by Margaret Marie Hubbard

I hear the fluttering of your wings

through broken hearts and painful screams

The light breaks through the greying sky

In my heart my angel flies

One swift motion a comforting grasp

A sweeping of the broken glass

Once shattered life, once forgotten heart

I'm found in you, my life doth start

Never released from this grip so tight

forever in my endless night.

I like the rhymes in this poem, they really make it seem simple even though you say so much. Also the images you displayed were very clear to me, great job.

This is fantastic. It has a wonderful rhyme and rhythm and just rolls off the tongue. I love your word choices and descriptions.
