Inner Children

Inner Children

A Poem by Margaret Marie Hubbard
"

Just jotted down some poetry inspired by a self photo.

"
Capture the image of happiness Behold the truth of a lone face Enjoy the beauty of silence Enlightened within a holy place Profound is our inner child Take hold its hand to reveal Self worth is what truly matters Yet the first strength the world will steal.

Funny that my 'Are you Human' verification text word was 'earworm'! Yes, I am human and do tend to have those vermin that whisper into my ears..where else would this nonsense stem from?

I like this. The last line is befitting for the real world. Nice picture of you too. Great poem.
