The man who lost himself

The man who lost himself

A Poem by Margad Esme

He is thinking
about drinking the rain
He is hiding
his pain
He is looking
out the window
He is trying to feel
Similar feelings to sorrow
NO he is thinking
NOT remembering
NOTHING to lose
NOTHING IN HIS EYES
The moon is touching his memories
The sun burned his heart
The clouds stole his minds
The rain is washing his tears
Forever and ever

I love the use of elements to feelings which I often use and they say so much in so little words. That gives poems power and this poem has power.
