Sometimes I think you want to feel this way,

Melancholy, downcast eyes tentatively glancing up to meet mine.

You once said �" ‘I never want to forget him’

Drowning in despair, clinging to the pain that to remind you of what had,

Is this living?

 

Too long have I witnessed your tears

Too long have you put your life on hold over this, time is slipping away.

Too long have I seen the bright flame inside you fade to embers.

I miss your smile.

 

This is not the worst year of your life,

It will be the best year.

You are so loved; there are many people here to help you on your way.

I wait for the day when your bright light engulfs everyone once more.
