"When it comes to insanity of the mind, the state in which a human being, male or female, experiences something so terrifying that they lose all logic and common sense, compared to the average person in society, they are all in the end treated the same way. They are all moved out of the way of the common people, placed within mental hospitals in more civilized societies and kept alive in their own apparent delusional state, gibbering nonstop about the horrors that they see before their mind's eye every second that they continue to breathe, while in less civilized societies, they are simply left to die or killed for their difference in state of mind; killed or murdered because of the fear their sudden change in state of mind has inflicted on those around them. In every case, the one that has lost their mind is always pushed away by society and left alone in their apparent delusional state, discarded like they have become nothing more than talkative and crazy trash, left either alive to suffer, or killed to become silence, if they don't commit suicide first. The horrors that they talk about, the things in their nightmares that only they can see, are always dismissed as nothing more than simple demented fantasies and delusions...

Then there are those that are the more violent of the insane, the people that the average man and woman see on the news, hear about on their radios on their way to work, the ones that they fear seeing on their doorstep or in their nightmares. The murderers and psychotics that rampage through cities, silently or perhaps not, killing innocent people for their own little reasons that seem so insane and illogical. When it's finally put to an end, and that killer is locked up or given a bullet between the eyes, his or her motives are never truly questioned, never are the killers asked as to why they did it, and never would such an explanation be believed. For the sane would not want to hear the answer, would not want to know what those killers saw, what caused the nightmare haunting the streets until he or she was caught.

Never once has a single human being ever once openly considered the one thing that they all fear the most, nor do they want to.

That those monsters, those creatures that seem to only exist in the minds of those that have are locked away in those mental institutions, are real. The sane fear the fact that, beneath every surface around them every day, are monsters that lay in wait, waiting for their chance to strike in the only way they can. Within every shadow, inside of each and every dark place in homes and in minds, they silently lay in wait for defenses to drop, openings to form, to strike when the sane are least expecting it. Never is it seen coming, never is it expected, what they should watch out for every day, until its too late and the damage is done. That is, of course, if they even survive..."
