So I'm Told

So I'm Told

A Poem by Solomon J
"

Another short poem from the old poem book.

"

The lost do wander, so I’m told

Their souls are trapped inside the road

The lost do wander, so I’m told

Doomed and lost in rain and cold

The lost do wander for one day

Abandoned home and ran away

A foolish choice, and so they say

The cost of home, the price to pay

So I’m told and so they say

I don’t believe it’s all that grey

I think I’ll find my own way

I think I’d rather stand than lay

So I’m told and so they say

I don’t think that it’s okay

To so quickly think such way

So I’d rather stand than lay
