PrayerA Poem by Solomon JAnother short poem from the poem book.Begins long but unknowning It lasts, strong but ungrowing June goes, like oceans apart Collides and ends with the start
It falls and endless rain comes Freezes, our skin becomes numb One Light, we save this for last Nomads, from winters long past
Around, the world will follow The Wheel, brings us tomorrow Come down, and take me away Makers, gods of the Old Ways
Keep me in the warm bright sun Day, and night, always as one Last Light, it fades from us fast In time, of winters long past © 2014 Solomon J |
