You Will See the Change in Me

You will see my glory days

I will rise and shine above the average

You will watch with regret and wonder

I will see your eyes on me as I take a step above

To the top I will go and leave you in the dust

I will make a change you haven't seen coming

I will be known for the better

I shall remember you always,

As you shall remember me always

I will eat away on your insides as I don't lift a finger

You will rue the things you have done to me

You will truly be sorry this time

I shall expand while you close up

I will miss you as I become better

I will show you all the things I'm not that you thought

You will be irritated

I will win this old worn out battle once and for all

I am sorry,

For everything

And you will not leave the pain with me

We shall all move on

You will be done as I see through,

To the end,

And forgive and forget

It will all be sound again as I come to hit the reset button
