REFLECTION

REFLECTION

A Poem by MIDNIGHT ROSE
"

Sorry everyone but I was having a very bad day! I definitely did not want to be me at this time!!!

"

I look at my reflection in the water,

Who is that girl staring back,

who could it be?

Is that girl really me?

I can't believe she's what I see,

this I can't concieve...

Those sad, haunting eyes

filled with truth and lies...

My reflection hurts me inside;

this reflection I must hide...

Hide it from myself, hide it

from everyone;  Nobody should

see it NO ONE!

My reflection is not vain,

it reflects all the anguish, all

the sorrow, all the pain...

What I most desire is

that this reflection would

reflect a better person yet;

a happier being, someone different,

someone worth seeing...

Someone with dignity and pride;

someone joyous and kind...

I look at my reflection in the water and

wait anxiously to be...

Anyone but ME!!
